Man, under-destruction?

The problem that I seem to have whenever I sit down to write one of these is that I always have no idea how I should start. Given the current situation involving you-know-what, I was hesitant in using my usual brand of not-so-insightful, yet not-so-insensitive humor. Then again, I think we could all benefit from a brief time-out from all the doomsday rhetoric and pseudo-suicidal disregard that a lot of people have shown (I’ll get to that in a minute) and start this off with........there ain’t nothing like an old-fashioned crisis to bring out the best and the worst in people!  So, we’re in a global pandemic.Granted, things are starting to look better, but it was pretty rough for a while. Entire economies had grinded to a halt. Medical facilities were filling up faster than ever. Hoarding of supplies had become almost second nature (I mean....toilet paper? Seriously?).
